Section 612 entitles every consumer to one free disclosure from each consumer reporting agency per 12-month period, available at AnnualCreditReport.com. Additional free reports are available within 60 days of an adverse action, if unemployed and seeking employment, or if the consumer believes the file is inaccurate due to fraud.
