Required Federal Disclosure — Consumer Credit File Rights

Consumer Credit File Rights Under State and Federal Law

You have a right to dispute inaccurate information in your credit report by contacting the credit bureau directly. There is no fee for this. Any reputable credit repair company will tell you the same. You have a right to obtain a copy of your credit report from a credit bureau. You may not be charged for this report if you are the victim of a credit fraud. You have a right to sue a credit repair company that violates the Credit Repair Organizations Act.

You have a right to cancel your contract with any credit repair company for any reason within 3 business days from the date you signed it. Credit bureaus are required to follow reasonable procedures to ensure that the information they report about you is accurate. However, mistakes may occur. You may, on your own, notify a credit bureau in writing that you dispute the accuracy of information in your credit file. The credit bureau must then reinvestigate and modify or delete inaccurate or incomplete information. The credit bureau may not charge any fee for this service. Any pertinent information and copies of all documents you have concerning an error should be given to the credit bureau.

If the credit bureau's reinvestigation does not resolve the dispute to your satisfaction, you may send a brief statement to the credit bureau, to be kept in your file, explaining why you think the record is inaccurate. The credit bureau must include a summary of your statement about disputed information with any report it issues about you. The Federal Trade Commission regulates credit bureaus and credit repair companies. 1. Three-Day Right of Cancellation

You may cancel any paid plan or subscription purchased on Federal 609 within 3 business days of the date of purchase. To cancel, contact us through federal609.com within the 3-business-day window and provide your order reference or the email address used at checkout.

For the dispute letter wizard (Starter, Standard, Max Plan): Because document generation occurs immediately at the time of payment, cancellation after document delivery is not available. If you contact us within 3 business days before generation has been initiated, a full refund will be considered.

For the Verify AI Unlimited subscription ($4.99/month): You may cancel at any time by contacting us. Your subscription will remain active through the end of the billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months already paid. The 3-day right of cancellation applies to the initial subscription charge; contact us within 3 business days if you believe you were charged in error.

For the book digital download ($5.99): Because the digital file is delivered immediately upon payment, cancellation is not available after delivery. Contact us within 3 business days before downloading if you wish to request cancellation.

2. No Guarantee of Results

Federal 609 generates dispute letters based on applicable provisions of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). The generation of a dispute letter does not guarantee that any item will be removed from your credit report. The outcome of a dispute depends entirely on the credit bureau's reinvestigation, the response of the creditor or furnisher, and the accuracy and completeness of the information you provide. Federal 609 does not guarantee removal of any item, does not guarantee any improvement to your credit score, and does not guarantee that a credit bureau will respond to your dispute. Only inaccurate, incomplete, or unverifiable information may be removed by law. Individual results vary.
